How this Battery Works?
1. This battery has it own battery charger, you can charge it from any 110V or 220V AC power source with the included AC charger. (You can also charge the battery from Car with optional Car Charge Kit, or charge it from airplane with the optional Car Charge Kit & Airline connector adapter)
2. After the battery has been fully charged, set the voltage output of the battery close to your notebook DC power input requirement (which is same as your notebook AC power adapter's DC output voltage).
3. Select right connector tip:
Included with the battery pack are 9-plug tips that work with most notebooks. With the plug tip not connected to the adapter cord, locate the correct tip by fitting the tip into the notebook DC Jack. The tip should fit snugly in the DC jack
4. Set Polarity & Plug the tip
After you have selected the proper plug tip, you need to connect the plug tip to the battery cord to match the correct polarity setting. The instruction sheet come with the battery will tell you details of how to to this.
Now you are ready to use it .
5. If your notebook internal battery is a working battery and has been fully charged, you can leave it in your notebook. Otherwise, remove the internal battery from your notebook.
6. Connect the External battery pack to your notebook DC power input plug (which is the same plug your notebook AC power adapter usually plugs ). Now you can power your notebook for this external battery pack .
How long this external battery can run?
Actual run time may vary, depending on notebook computer's configuration and what kind applications are running . Our battery's capacity is 111Wh(Watt-hour) and 118Wh(Watt-hour):
you can compare our battery's capacity with your internal battery capacity to figure out how long this battery can run your notebook. For example, if your notebook internal battery out put is: 10.8V & 4000 mAh
Then, your notebook internal battery capacity is 10.8V x 4000 mAh = 43200 mVAh= 43.2 Wh (Watt-hour).
If a brand new fully charged internal notebook battery can run 4 hours, then our battery pack can run about : 118Wh/43.2Wh x 4 hours = 10.9 hours
Standard Accessories:
1) AC charger
2) 9 connectors
Notebook Computer compatibility: Acer, Asus, Compaq, Dell, Fujitsu, IBM, SONY, TOSHIBA, and devices which require a 18~21V Power supply source.
